Meaning: The Japanese meaning of Sora involves the sky. The word 'Cosmos' derives from the Greek term kosmos, literally meaning 'order' or 'ornament' and metaphorically 'world', and is antithetical to the concept of chaos.

Life Story:
Sora Cosmos was the third child of Emiko Yoshida and Arata Cosmos although she's considered a bastard child, similar to her two older brothers. Akihiko, the eldest, had been born a year prior to them. Her parents had yet to marry sometime after Daichi and herself had turned one year old. Their parents had gained plenty of unwanted attention given their financial status in the world with their families reputation at hand. After all, the two adults were unwed and already had three children that belonged to them, making the situation rather messy. Unfortunately for the children, they were thrown in the media with every little chance to counter the insults and slurs that were thrown their way. Of course, Arata had tried his best to keep his children out of the limelight and away from harmful people. Although, he'd often let a young child by the name of Shou come by to the household fairly often to play with the children. It was the only way they seemed to cheer up at the given time by having another child to play with.
By the time the Cosmos children were around the ages of seven through nine, things had gotten worse in their household. Their mother, Emiko, couldn't stand the life they were living any longer and had ran back to her family. Arata didn't mention this to his children, though he did explain it to them later on properly. This was probably around the time they began to struggle financially more so than before. It was tough for Arata to raise his children single-handily though he gave it his best shot and raised each child the best he could at the given moment. It was only three years after this that Arata began to see a woman by the name of Ami, a woman who would later become their new mother. At first, the children were fairly hesitant around her but it wasn't long before they had become accustomed to her though it did take getting used considering she did have a child from a previous marriage, a boy two years their junior, Koichi.
Neither child could deny the fact that Ami was a kind woman with a caring soul, which was hardly surprising. After all, each child saw her as their new mother figure instead of their birth mother. It was around the time of Daichi's and Sora's tenth birthday that Ami had given birth to their new sibling, Raiden. A small bundle of joy and adoration. Most of the children instantly doted on the younger children, finding Raiden to be an adorable and pleasant baby. During this time, Arata had decided to become heavily involved in police work. Their father quickly proved himself to be a promising police officer, which was soon rewarded by a promotion being given to him.
Before the Cosmos family noticed, their father was steadily climbing the ranks in the police force and managed to provide them with a more stable income. It was around the twins' fifteenth birthday that their birth mother, Emiko, had gotten the two young adults jobs as models. Initially, neither wanted the job but their father's words persuaded them to give it a go before deciding any thing. Due to that event, the two slowly began to make their descent into the world of the high society once again.
It would be a few months later that the children, along with their stepbrother, were enrolled in Ouran high school. This would be a fresh start for each of them. Naturally, Sora wasn't too happy when she found out that she'd be required to wear the mandatory yellow dress during her time there. Two years prior to her enrollment at Ouran, Sora had quickly befriended Tamaki Suoh and she did restablished the strange friendship she had with Kyoya Ootori as well.

Personality:
Sora can be fairly curious which happens to be quite evident due to her desire to explore new situations, willingly at that.It's safe to say that she's quite adventurous and eager to know more about the world and the people around her. Although, this usually ends with the ravenette being swept up in another one of Tamaki's schemes. Then again she's this way as well when it comes to obedience, considering she'll follow the strangest of orders from time to time.
It may have been the comments that surrounding the initial Cosmos children that led to Sora growing more distant in regards to expressing her thoughts and feelings. After all, a single word could easily throw her family until more chaos. Something she happened to learn the hard way considering she has a sharp tongue when it comes to insults or slurs being directed towards them. It's rare to see the female upset especially if she's expressing the emotion physically. After all, Sora is the type to keep her emotions bottled up until she needs to share her thoughts with another or her emotions had built up for far too long. Otherwise she can be quite patient with others as long as she isn't being forced to spill the beans. If Sora were to cry during this time, she'll be insistent on nothing being wrong though she'll quickly become docile in the next few minutes.
For Sora, friendly gestures such as hugs and mere hand holding are an easy task to accomplish. In fact, she has no shame in praising others as she sees fit. Although if the roles were reversed, Sora would be fairly quick to fluster and embarrass. The female falls a wide variety of emotions when she's the one being praised. It might have the comments she had to shoulder in the past that made the woman more closed off than before. This might be the reason why she can come across as calculating and prideful at times. Ironically, this only a facade she keeps up to maintain her current position as the head of her household along with the business she's currently running.
Arata Cosmos, forty five years old.
Being disowned by his parents for his own foolish mistakes wasn't in Arata's plans but he hardly left that bother him much. The forty-five year old decided to become a working police officer, straying far from the path his father had intended for him originally. Arata happens to be quite friendly and courteous to the needs of others though he does tire out easily under stress. In fact, he'll be inclined to snap but he's quick to aplogize in response.
Ami Cosmos, forty one years old.
Ami might not be the mother of the three older Cosmos children, but she treats them just like her own son, Raiden, nonetheless. The brunette is quite kind and adventurous, always eager to try and do new things. She's always attentive to her stepchildren needs which isn't too surprising, considering her kind nature is also directed towards them.

Daichi is a fairly serious individual, who prefers long conversations and books in favor of parties and women. He isn't too fond of their birth mother, Emiko, though he sees Ami more of a mother. He's more inclined to ignore someone unless he needs to associate himself with them, easily convincing him to become acquainted with them. That being said, Daichi can be rather blunt about things without meaning to.

Raiden is practically a little ball of energy, always eager to please and help out fellow family members or classmates. The brunet can be a handful at times, mainly due to his own naivety. He's fairly innocent, wanting to believe the honestly in other individuals instead of the bad.
Koichi is rather short tempered and easy to bite if provoked, though its mainly due to his own refusal to show he has a caring soul. Of course, that isn't seen often since he doesn't enjoy showing that concerned side of him often to others. Nevetheless, it can be seen subtly through his actions and words.

Azumi Ambroise is the fiancée of Akihiko, but that doesn't mean that she's happy about the ordeal either. After all, she knew all too well about her fiancee's tendency to flirt and treat women like a mere collection. The blonde is fairly polite and laid-back, though even she has her moments were she snaps back without warning. Nevertheless, Azumi can be kind and extremely relaxed with individuals she feels a connection to.

Shin Matsuoka would be the next line to Matsuoka business and Sora's fiancee, but the latter isn't information that has been revealed to them just yet. The raven haired male can be rather overly confident, caring, impulsive and at times, reckless. His actions are entirely contradicting his own thoughts, considering his words often don't match up with him.

Oddly enough, Sora didn't have much difficulty in conversing with Tamaki much less befriending him. The male was someone she found it very easy to feel comfortable around, which was a rare thing at the given moment. She can find herself easily becoming much more open and vulnerable with Tamaki. Of course, that means she'll often be swept up into one of his schemes in more than one occasion. Although his antics might be tiring at times, Sora prefers to go along with them regardless. After all, it's more entertaining being in the presence of Tamaki and participating in the events he comes up with. She might not admit it but Sora feels more at ease with Tamaki around due to their similarity concerning their births.
Shou Tachibana
Shou is a male Sora had encountered during her childhood, growing up with and furthering their bond with one another. The ravenet was there for her throughout her parent's disastrous divorce, which affected the children more so than it did the parents. Despite that bond, the two still comminuticte though it's nothing like it was in the past.

Mori is someone that Sora gets along with decently though she can't help but wonder what he's thinking half of the time. After all, she's witnessed some of Hunny's antics in the past so it does make her curious about his thoughts. Regardless of that, Sora can easily feel at ease in the presence of Mori though she'll often try to get him to speak a bit.
Mitsukuni Haninozuka
At first, Sora had a difficult time believing Hunny was capable of taking down a male double his size. Naturally, you can imagine her shock when she witnessed the male's fighting skills. It wasn't odd that the female was impressed with Hunny's though it did led to Sora offering more of sweets over to the older boy.
Karou Hitachiin
Sora easily got along with Karou, admiring the aura of wisdom and maturity he gave off. Her friendship with him explains her occasional participation in teasing Hikaru or Tamaki from time to time. It's also because of their friendship that Sora can be more honest with him, silently knowing that it's fine to confess some of her emotions and thoughts to him.
Haruhi Fujioka
The brunette is someone Sora doesn't mind expressing herself to, though its hardly surprising. After all, they have plenty of things in common with one another. Of course their personalities do contradict each other from time to time, considering Haruhi isn't always on board for another one of Tamaki's ideas. Nevertheless, Sora enjoys the girl's presence immensely which can be seen by the eagerness she expresses to communicate with her.

Hikaru was never someone that Sora imagined that she'd be able to befriend so easily as she had his brother. She might not admit it so easily but she admires his smile, which happens to be one of the many reasons why she'll often go along with antics or teasing remarks half of the time. It wasn't far fetched thar the girl would eventually fall for the boy, who she hoped wouldn't catch on just yet. After all, Sora enjoyed their current relationship and she couldn't shake off the thought that a confession would immediately change their friendship.

Kyoya has always been someone that Sora seems to run into at the worst possible moment, though that isn't too surprising. The two ravenettes have a few similarities with one another, but that's a story for another time. Due to their occasional meeting as children, Sora doesn't appear doubtful in the presence of the male. Instead, she'll be more honest about various things, often trying to get point across to him.

How she became involved with the host club?: Originally, Sora had steered clear of the music room after overhearing that Kyoya Ootori had a hand in the host club at Ouran. Although, her temporary job at cosplay cafe had left her at a complete and utter disadvantage. After all, Kyoya happened to encounter her in midst of her working hours, leaving the ravenette completely mortified. It also didn't help that her brother, Daichi, happened to owe the male a few favors as well. Eventually, those favors had Daichi participating with host events while Sora had to be the one to drag him and keep him there.
Role: Sora's role in the host club happens to be locating her brother, Daichi, along with a few small tasks Kyoya might need help with.
Influence: Sora isn't the type to go out and communicate with various people. However, her desire to praise others definitely gives her an advantage when it comes to communication. In fact, she'll be swept up with various conversations which is quite obvious by the enthusiasm heard in her voice.
Strength: Due to her father's insistence, Sora only knows a few moves to keep her safe though it's only the bare minimum. In a real fight, she'd probably be the first to lose. Fortunately, she does know how to attack verbally quite well.
Defense: As far as defense goes, Sora is quick to make herself relaxed in the result of a incoming attack. Of course, her defense is quickly quite a lot due to her lack of strength.

Body Type/Looks: Sora's body is rather slender though that's easily explained through her fondness for swimming and exploring, not being one to slack off too often. As far as womanly assets go, Sora doesn't have much to complain about due to being bestowed with a decent set of assets. Her hands are a bit small though it's only by an inch or two, while her fingers happen to be fairly slender. Meanwhile, her complexion happens to be fair but she tends to burn easily if she doesn't use protection. Sora's eyes are slightly considered big, giving her a more doll-like appearance. If one were to inspect her closely, you'd see the light tan colored freckles on her shoulders.

Everyday Outfit(s): Other than sporting the male's uniform from time to time for school time, if she doesn't get busted from the get-go, Sora does dress in anything from frilly shirts and tank tops to button downs and v-necks. Of course, the brunette wears summer dresses and other forms of dresses as well. Although, halter top or thin strapped dresses are more of her type of dresses. As fas as lower clothing go, she'll wear anything from shorts and fitted jeans to skirts and leggings. Although she'll wear the latter more so during the chilly season. For shoes, Sora prefers wearing flats, combat boots, ankle boots and high heels. However if she has to wear the latter, she'll feel more self conscious than she usually does. In regards to special or public events, Sora will feel extremely reluctant but she'll go the extra mile and dress in something fancy- preferably something her mother, Emiko, sends for her to wear.
Accessories: The only accessories Sora seems to have on her persona would be necklace with a small bottle, containing a light gray powder along with a few small crystals inside. It may not be anything remotely fancy but it was a gift that happened cheer her up a lot during her adolescence. There's also a charm bracelet she has that has a camera, book, water drop, and a lighting strike charm hanging from it. This was a gift from her brothers that was given to her sometime during her previous birthday.
Makeup: The only makeup Sora wears would have to be Chap-stick or lip-gloss, one of the two really. If she happens to be going out to an outing or to a special event, then she'll make more of an effort in making herself presentable. After all, her mother had taught her that it's better to be seen presentable to any event, in general.
Scent: A vanilla like scent with a faint trace of coffee.
Hairstyle(s): Sora's dark brown tresses often come across as raven colored- similar to her brother, Daichi's, hair color. Her hair is usually kept down and it reaches mid back on the female, although some parts of her hair are in minor layers. The strands of hair framing her face are normally swept to the side and kept out of her line of sight. Although the length of her bangs happen to stop a few inches before reaching her eyes, so there's hardly any hassle there. If there's a special event of some sort, she tries to make more of an effort with her hair than she usually would.
Scars, Tattoos, Jewelry and/or Piercings: On Sora's upper back, there's a few faint scars on her body due to a few incidents she was involved in throughout her childhood. There's also one noticeable 'x' shaped scar on her face, on her right cheek near her chin. As far as tattoos go, Sora doesn't have a single one located on her body. Although, she does have a single pair of piercings on her ears. Other than that, there isn't much markings on her body.
